Job summary

The City of San Gabriel's Public Works Department seeks a Field Supervisor to oversee field operations including facilities, landscaping, lighting, sewers, streets, traffic and related infrastructure.

Under general supervision, the Field Supervisor will lead a division, coordinate maintenance and repairs, mentor staff, and ensure safe, efficient service for the community, with emphasis on leadership, communication, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent in related field.
• 4 years of field operation experience with at least 1 year in lead capacity.
• Licenses and certifications may be required within 12 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned division in field operations for facilities, landscaping, lighting, sewers, streets, traffic and related infrastructure.
• Provide complex maintenance, service, and repairs to city-owned infrastructure.
• Lead staff, ensure safety, supervise projects, and enforce guidelines and standards.
