Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates City-owned trucks and other assigned vehicles with CDL Class B or higher.
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintains logs.
• Loads, transports, and unloads materials and equipment safely.
• Performs diverse public works tasks across streets, parks, sanitation, and facilities.
• Assists with grounds maintenance, pothole repairs, sign installation, and debris removal.
• Maintains vehicles and equipment in clean, safe condition; uses PPE as required.
• Responds to emergencies, severe weather, and after-hours needs as required.
• Maintains accurate forms and documentation; reports safety concerns and defects.
