Job summary

Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians in San Jacinto, CA, invites applications for Planning, Development and Operation Director. The role leads Public Works operations, planning, facilities oversight and project management to ensure efficient service delivery.

The selected candidate will oversee budgeting, grant funding, staff leadership and coordination with engineers and external agencies, driving strategic initiatives while upholding tribal policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 10+ years construction/leadership experience.
• Education in building maintenance or government facility management.
• Five years of facilities maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees long-term Public Works plans and objectives.
• Directs goals, policies, procedures and work standards for the department.
• Manages department budget and forecasts staffing, equipment and supplies.
• Oversees grant funding processes and coordination with the Grants Administrator.
• Coordinates with engineers, architects, and external agencies on projects and compliance.
• Reviews plans and specifications for engineering projects and inspects construction sites.
