Job summary

PMCS Group, Inc. in California seeks a Construction Manager to lead the CM team on the Cultural Terrace West public works project in Orange County.

You will act as the City’s primary liaison with the design architect, contractor and city staff, guiding pre-construction, construction, and closeout activities. With 10+ years in public works, a civil engineering or CM background, and deep knowledge of CA standards, you’ll manage schedule, risk and budgets for a $41.73 million site-improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years managing public works construction, including landscape, grading, storm drain and site improvement projects of $20 million or more.
• Knowledge of CA public contract code, APWA Greenbook and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CM team and act as City's primary contact for the full project.
• Provide continuous construction management direction and enforce contract compliance.
• Manage schedule, budget, risk, and interface with designers, contractors and utilities.
