Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, including coursework in trigonometry and drafting.
• Two years sub-professional engineering work.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings, specifications, estimates and contract documents for civil engineering projects.
• Inspect construction work for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Update plans and maps using CAD software.
• Review survey data and prepare maps and profiles.
• Assist with right-of-way permits and field inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service at the public counter.
• Maintain detailed records.
