Bus Driver

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Santa Rosa, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Position Details

Position subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Starting pay $31.06 with progression to $40.50 over 4 years

Key Responsibilities

• Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, often in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery, uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to reach equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
