Job summary

State of Georgia’s Department of Human Services seeks a Child Support Services Agent 2 in Griffin, GA to establish and enforce child support obligations and coordinate with legal and public entities.

Under supervision, you will manage a caseload, communicate with clients by telephone, email, and mail, and perform administrative hearings and other duties as assigned. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a high school diploma with related experience or one year at the lower level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• High school diploma/GED with two years of related experience.
• One year of experience at the lower level Child Support Services Agent 1 (SST060) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establishes child support obligations and ensures that such obligations are met.
• Communicates with clients via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.
• Manages a caseload to ensure that child support obligations are met.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
