Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Public Sector Supplier Manager to drive sales growth, manage supplier relationships, and strengthen partnerships within the Federal and SLED markets. This role requires a strategic leader who can collaborate with suppliers, expand market share, and support the sales team in public sector procurement and partner enablement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in public sector sales, supplier management, and working with reseller and channel partners, including

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity public sector sales experience.
• Experience with public sector reseller partners, distributors, and OEMs.
• Strong understanding of Federal and SLED procurement processes.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and MDF funds.
• Experience with distribution models and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships with public sector suppliers, distributors, and resellers to grow sales.
• Coordinate with sales teams, suppliers, and leadership to align on product issues and strategy.
• Identify market segments and reseller partners to expand reach and Net New Sales (NSB).
• Partner with the Federal and SLED partner ecosystem to develop go-to-market plans.
• Lead business planning, supplier reviews, pipeline management, and performance analysis.
• Support public sector sales on large opportunities, contracts, and procurement strategies.
• Implement supplier engagement initiatives such as EDI/RosettaNet, backlog management, barcoding, and sales tools.
• Assess team needs, skills gaps, and recruitment strategies to support growth.
