OpenGov is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our mission of bringing AI-enabled government technology to local and state agencies. You’ll generate pipeline through high-volume outbound outreach, research, and LinkedIn networking, while learning the OpenGov cloud platform and articulating its value to city, county, and state leaders.

This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path into full-cycle sales.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to engage strangers.
• Curiosity about technology and government applications.
• Interest in AI and its government impact.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and manage pipeline with high-volume outbound outreach.
• Learn OpenGov cloud platform and communicate its benefits.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on territory strategy.
• Use Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn to manage activity.
• Attend trade shows and government events to build relationships.
• Follow up on leads to convert opportunities.
• Coordinate with marketing to improve lead-to-opportunity conversion.
