Job summary

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking a procurement professional to manage all phases of the procurement process for IMPD. You will review requisitions and vouchers, coordinate with departments and the OCC, and work with vendors to resolve issues.

The role also handles contract processing and tracking within a public sector environment. We value integrity, accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; one year of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of public procurement laws, ordinances, policies and government purchasing procedures helpful.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and Access skills; high integrity and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Review and process department requisitions and vouchers.
• Serve as liaison to departments and vendors; manage contract processing and tracking.
• Maintain contract database and bid/quote processes; ensure proper documentation.
