Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a PMO Manager - Public Sector to lead project management and PMO functions across federal, state, and education clients. You will drive governance, financial controls, and team development in a dynamic, multinational environment.

The role requires 5+ years in PMO management with a strong track record in public sector engagements, budgeting, and risk management. Travel up to 25% is expected, with a focus on delivering complex technology programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in a related field.
• 5+ years project management experience.
• 5+ years PMO management experience.
• 5+ years experience with Public Sector customers (Federal, SLED).
• Preferred experience with State & Local Government and Education customers (Professional/Managed Services).
• Strong leadership to develop talent and capabilities and foster engagement.
• Able to build collaborative relationships across functions.
• Promote inclusion of diverse knowledge and experiences.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes.
• Strong problem-solving and change management skills.
• Able to forecast trends and manage change.
• Strong issue resolution and innovative thinking.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Work may require up to 25% travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are planned and executed per PMO methodology.
• Develop and mentor team members and manage personnel resources.
• Forecast project end dates and drive cost control and profitability.
• Build relationships with Sales, PMs, and deployment teams to ensure execution.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and SLA adherence.
• Provide risk mitigation and issue resolution guidance.
• Communicate project status and lessons learned to stakeholders.
• Staffing planning and utilization management.
