Job summary

Crowe is seeking an experienced Lead Government Consultant to drive modernization of HCM and payroll systems for public sector clients. You will lead teams, design solutions, and mentor analysts while coordinating with project managers to deliver value on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes strong consulting background, payroll/HCM expertise, and a track record of delivering results for government clients.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree; 5–8 years management consulting experience.
Current certification: CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA or PMP.
In-depth HR/Payroll processes knowledge.
Experience implementing payroll or HCM software incl. config/testing.
Strong experience with public sector clients and HCM projects.
Analytical thinker with attention to detail and quantitative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Word and Excel; able to work independently or in teams.
Demonstrated track record delivering high-quality work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with public sector clients to design and implement improved processes.
Lead and mentor business analyst teams in process analysis and system assessments.
Analyze operations and develop actionable improvement recommendations.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews and workshops to gather requirements.
Document staffing models, technology systems, workflows and costs.
Deliver high-quality reports, process documentation, and client presentations.
Support proposals, client relationships and business development efforts.
Work with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
