Job summary

The Town of Collierville is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead a broad program of HR services for employees and leadership. You will supervise HR staff, evaluate performance, and participate in hiring, wage decisions, and attendance monitoring.

You will oversee retirement systems, FMLA and leave programs, and drive compliance with HIPAA, COBRA, EEO, ACA and ADA requirements while maintaining accurate personnel records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field required.
• Seven years of relevant experience with at least 3 in a supervisory role.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Certifications via PSHRA/SHRM or equivalent are highly desirable but not required.
• Strong computer skills with spreadsheets and word processing; HRIS/database experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a wide range of HR programs and supervise HR personnel.
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend wage increases and disciplinary actions.
• Participate in hiring and dismissal decisions and monitor attendance.
• Administer retirement systems and assist employees with retirement applications and benefits.
• Administer FMLA and other leave programs; ensure eligibility determinations and compliance.
• Lead grievance processes and internal investigations with confidentiality and fairness.
