Job summary

Sierra is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer for the Public Sector to lead the technical pre‑sales cycle for government institutions while partnering with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering. You will shape demonstrations, articulate business value, and drive cross‑functional collaboration across teams.

You will engage early with customers, lead GTM initiatives, and help scale Sierra’s public sector offerings, including capturing market momentum and aligning product components with customer

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in Sales Engineering or customer‑facing technical sales.
• 2+ years supporting U.S. federal, state, or local government customers.
• Experience in demo building and presenting to GTM teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical pre-sales for government institutions at federal/state level; design demos and articulate business value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering to improve GTM and product.
• Lead and support customers in early conversations, understanding needs and shaping solutions.
• Partner with industry leadership to build and scale the public sector team and strategy.
