Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Consulting Architect to lead government-focused Elastic Stack engagements. You will design platform architectures, implement solutions, and optimize capacity for mission-critical environments with remote and on-site work.

The role requires strong client-facing skills, cloud experience, and proficiency with Elasticsearch, Linux, and distributed data tools. Occasional travel, especially to Ashburn, VA, is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a consultant or technical instructor in client-facing engagements.
• Proven ability to capture requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Minimum 5 years as Systems/Networks/Cloud Engineer or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead Elastic consulting engagements (remote and on-site) to maximize customer value.
• Architect, implement, and configure Elastic solutions focusing on platform design and capacity planning.
• Build strong customer relationships and communicate clearly as a trusted advisor.
• Develop demos and proofs-of-concept to showcase Elastic Stack value.
• Model data, optimize queries, and tune clusters for high performance.
