Job summary

Endgame Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Elastic, seeks a Senior Technical Consultant for Elastic Government Solutions. You will guide strategy, architecture design, and capacity planning in mission-critical environments, delivering Elastic solutions for government customers and building trusted client relationships.

You will lead engagements, develop demos, model data, and optimize search and analytics while collaborating with a distributed team and coordinating on-site engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a consultant or technical instructor in client-facing engagements.
• 5+ years as a Systems Engineer/Administrator, Network Engineer/Administrator, Cloud Engineer/Administrator, or similar role.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions with Elasticsearch or similar distributed data technologies.
• Strong understanding of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, including CLI.
• Familiarity with information retrieval and analytics domains.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Programming experience with at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with databases including SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB, or NoSQL technologies.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new Elastic technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and oversee Elastic consulting engagements (remote and on-site).
• Architect, implement, configure Elastic solutions with focus on platform architecture and capacity planning.
• Build strong relationships as a customer advocate and ensure excellent communication.
• Develop demos and proofs-of-concept to showcase Elastic Stack value.
• Conduct data modeling, query development, optimization, and cluster tuning for performance.
• Collaborate with other consultants to solve complex technical challenges.
• Review and approve technical consulting reports outlining outcomes and recommendations.
• Mentor consultants through enablement programs and training.
• Participate in technical interviews to onboard new consultants.
• Work in a remote, distributed team with periodic on-site engagements.
