Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Consulting Architect to work with government and enterprise customers, delivering Elastic solutions and providing strategic guidance on architecture and capacity planning. The role emphasizes remote and on-site engagements in mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Elasticsearch and cloud platforms, strong Linux/Windows skills, and a track record of customer success.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a consultant or technical instructor in client-facing engagements.
• Minimum 5 years as Systems/Network/Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency with Elasticsearch or similar distributed data technologies.
• Strong Linux, Unix, and Windows knowledge and CLI proficiency.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and databases (SQL/Elasticsearch/Redis/MongoDB/NoSQL).
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new Elastic technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Elastic consulting engagements (remote/on-site) to maximize customer value.
• Architect, implement, and configure Elastic solutions for platform design and capacity planning.
• Build relationships with customers as a trusted advisor and collaborate with teams.
• Develop demos and proofs-of-concept to illustrate Elastic value.
• Perform data modeling, query development, and cluster tuning for high performance.
• Review consulting reports and mentor other consultants through enablement programs.
• Participate in technical interviews to assess new consultants.
• Work in a distributed team with periodic on-site engagements.
