Job summary

GitLab seeks a Public Sector Solutions Architect to be a trusted advisor for U.S. government customers, guiding them through pre-sales, PoCs, and value demonstrations.

You will align GitLab's Enterprise Edition capabilities with mission outcomes and collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams. You will own the technical evaluation, develop Customer Success Plans, and build relationships with stakeholders, ensuring successful deployment and measurable value delivery across government

Qualifications

• Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology roles, ideally with U.S. public sector or federal customers.
• Hands-on experience using GitLab and familiarity with modern software development and operations practices, such as CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and related technologies in regulated or security-conscious environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with public sector customers, onsite and remotely, to provide technical guidance during pre-sales.
• Collaborate with sales to shape account strategies for government environments.
• Own the technical evaluation process, including POC/ POV design and delivery, tender and audit support, and proposals input.
