Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Public Sector Security and Privacy Director in Florida to lead the CYBER Risk and Data Protection practice. You will expand delivery capabilities, drive innovation, and oversee security services for government clients, translating complex risks into strategic guidance.

The role requires strong leadership, proven experience building a security and privacy practice, and the ability to travel up to 50% to serve federal, state, and local clients while growing trusted client

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
In-depth knowledge of security and privacy frameworks and standards (NIST 800 series, MARS-E, FIPS, NIST CSF, CMMC, FISMA).
Established relationships within federal, state, and local government agencies.
Proven track record of building and growing a security and privacy practice.
Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for client work.

Responsibilities

Work with the public sector CYBER leader to grow the public sector CYBER practice through expansion of the team and skillsets.
Provide oversight and training to managers and staff during service delivery to ensure quality.
Use business development skills to acquire clients and expand existing relationships.
Identify business opportunities and enhance go-to-market strategies.
Communicate risks and solutions to clients in executive-friendly terms.
