Job summary

Stantec in California is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator-Contract Administrator to help ensure contract and financial compliance on government and public-agency projects. You will work with Project Management, Project Controls, Project Accounting, and Marketing to align contract requirements with delivery.

You will coordinate contract documentation, support invoicing, tracking cost performance, and provide subconsultant oversight.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public-agency contract administration and procurement rules.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, contracts and budgets.
• Experience preparing contract documentation and proposals.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, issue-resolution, and communication skills.
• Proficiency across Stantec teams and client staff; MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Contract & Financial Compliance: ensure compliance with contractual requirements across prime contracts and amendments.
• Project Controls & Billing: support project setups, invoicing alignment, and rate reviews.
• Subconsultant Compliance: coordinate subconsultant agreements, approvals, and documentation.
• Cross-Functional Coordination & Risk Management: align contract, financial, billing, and pursuit needs.
