Job summary

Google Public Sector seeks a Security Customer Engineer to serve as the technical partner and trusted advisor for government and educational customers. You’ll lead engagements across cloud security, architecture, and compliance, working with sales to differentiate Google Cloud.

You will drive technical wins from initial discussions to proofs-of-concept, ensuring adoption of Google Cloud security offerings and successful deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of cloud security architectures experience.
• Experience with encryption, identity management, access control, SIEM, CNAPP or network security.
• Experience presenting to technical or executive stakeholders.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or conversational AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities with the team and resolve technical blockers.
• Provide in-depth security and compliance expertise to support customer relations.
• Demonstrate and prototype integrations with Google Cloud products in customer environments.
• Recommend architectures and platforms for end-to-end Google Cloud solutions.
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events as required.
