Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an energetic and passionate software engineer for a 100% on-site role in a secure facility in Redondo Beach, CA. You will work on Next Generation Ground Systems and software deliveries to operational sites, performing C++ development within an agile team on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The position requires TS/SCI clearance or higher and a strong background in object-oriented C++ development, debugging, and collaboration with senior engineers across subsystems.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI clearance or higher.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5–8 years of experience, Master's with 3–6 years, or PhD with 1–4 years; an additional 4 years of relevant software experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented programming; knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform as a C++ software developer in a fast-paced agile team environment on RHEL VMs, servers, and workstations.
Design, code, and unit test new software capabilities based on requirements.
Identify, troubleshoot, and provide fixes for Discrepancy Reports; collaborate with SMEs and senior staff engineers across subsystems.
