You will tell the story of how governments leverage AI, support major customer moments, and collaborate with stakeholders across cybersecurity, national security, science, and policy domains.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional communications experience, including government, enterprise tech, or security-focused issues.
• Ability to translate complex tech/policy into clear external narratives.
• Proven success building relationships with press, executives, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications plans for OpenAI's government partnerships and public-sector work.
• Build proactive campaigns and customer stories demonstrating AI benefits for public services.
• Coordinate with Global Affairs, legal, product, research, safety, and security teams to craft external messaging.
• Manage media inquiries and relationships with national, state, and local outlets.
