Job summary

Scale AI is seeking an engagement manager to lead and coordinate delivery of agentic workflows for a national security customer. You will own or support a large account plan, manage day-to-day execution, and ensure an excellent customer experience.

This role blends program leadership, customer relationships, technical fluency, and contract awareness. Travel up to 25% and possible 50% is a nice-to-have. The base salary range for the Washington DC location is $144,800–$181,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; Full Scope Polygraph is a nice-to-have.
• 3+ years in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles delivering enterprise-scale applications/solutions.
• Structured, analytics-driven problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~25% (50% travel a nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships from the executive to the end user.
• Scope agentic workflow use cases with Scale’s engineering team.
• Lead or support a cross-functional project team to meet AI/ML objectives for the customer.
• Proactively identify customer needs and pain points to ensure success.
• Oversee onboarding and successful implementation of customer accounts.
