Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Business Process Manager within the Police Department’s Technology Services Section. The role oversees technology planning, management, and administration, supervises staff, and aligns IT services with the department’s strategic goals to improve efficiency and accountability across more than 2,300 users and 100+ systems.

Travel throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Analytics, MIS, Business or related field

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Technology Services Section and Police Department IT-related systems
• Assist in inventory management, support, and replacement schedule of Police Department computer equipment
• Provide proactive support to internal and external customers
• Support 24/7 operations; work various hours as needed
• Ensure compliance of IT systems with CJIS, Homeland Security & HIPAA
• Manage IT-related contracts and serve as Contract Manager
• Assist with department IT budgets and strategic plans
