Job summary

The Port of Seattle Police Department seeks a Police Technology Manager to provide strategic leadership for the department’s technology ecosystem, including BWC, in-car video, digital evidence platforms, mobile devices, and related systems. You will oversee administration, lifecycle management, and vendor coordination, ensuring compliance with CJIS and privacy laws.

Qualifications

• Experience with police technology ecosystems and digital evidence platforms.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional technology initiatives and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of operational, legal, cybersecurity, and CJIS compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide department‑wide leadership for police tech systems (BWC, in‑car video, digital evidence).
• Act as system administrator and owner for platforms, overseeing users, configurations, workflows, and change control.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of police tech devices and systems; coordinate with vendors and service levels.
