Job summary

Motorola Solutions in New Orleans is seeking a Sr Engineer to lead the design and deployment of complex public safety software, including body cameras and real-time command center systems. You will bridge high-level design with on-site deployment, ensuring seamless integration of wireless infrastructure for critical clients.

The role requires technical leadership, strong communication with cross-functional teams, and ability to operate in high-security environments. Travel 50-75% is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Public Safety software application system implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management systems, and real time command center software.
• Serve as the technical solution owner for a project.
• Provide system as-built documentation.
• Identify interface requirements and coordinate with the design/implementation teams.
• Conduct customer-facing technical requirements discovery sessions for system configuration.
• Build relationships with sales, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Provide customer product training (in-person and virtual).
• Survey, design, install and maintain the wireless infrastructure at client sites.
