Job summary

Octave Federal is seeking a Geospatial Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to support the Federal sales team. You will lead discovery, design geospatial solutions, and provide technical demonstrations across desktop, web, cloud, and mobile environments.

You will collaborate with account executives, product teams, and partners to address mission requirements and ensure successful engagements, with up to 50% travel and a focus on public safety and GEOINT workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial technologies and enterprise software.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to engage Federal customers and understand requirements.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to identify challenges and outcomes.
• Translate requirements into geospatial solution architectures with software, data, and integrations.
• Develop demonstrations and proofs of concept tailored to customer missions.
• Lead technical evaluations, pilots, and responses to RFIs/RFPs.
