Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a Security Team Specialist I at Taunton State Hospital. The role covers security duties to ensure safety, with patrols, access control, and emergency response coordination across the Southeast Area as needed.

The position is full-time, on-site, with shifts across 1st, 2nd and 3rd, requiring adherence to DMH regulations and strong communication under pressure.

Formación

• Experience in protection and/or security of buildings, equipment or individuals.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written format.
• Discretion in receiving, handling and safeguarding confidential information.
• CPR/AED or related safety certifications may be required for some assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol buildings and grounds to maintain safety and security.
• Issue access control items and operate security and fire-detection systems.
• Document investigations and prepare incident/accident reports.
• Coordinate emergency response and liaise with law enforcement as needed.
• Transport clients and patients per DMH policies.
• Maintain daily security log and reporting systems.
