Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings, grounds, and adjacent areas to prevent trespass, theft, fire and damage.
• Control vehicle traffic, parking, and prevent unauthorized use of roads and lots.
• Screen visitors, direct traffic and enforce parking.
• Provide personal protection and conduct searches when needed.
• Escort medically ill/mental health clients to appointments.
• Maintain hospital firefighting equipment and alarms; report faults.
• Monitor switchboard and alarms; reset systems when needed.
• Prepare reports on investigations and incidents during tours.
• Preserve crime scenes and serve court summons as directed.
