Job summary

The City of New York's Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) seeks a Director of Project Management to lead a group delivering Public Safety Programs, including applications, COTS, infrastructure, network, and security projects. You will provide senior level management support to project delivery teams and drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Public Safety Programs portfolio in NYC
• Oversee development of release plans and governance with timely reporting
• Coordinate across systems architecture, large systems integration, operations, financial and contract management
• Support and implement project governance with metrics to measure success
• Lead and mentor Project Managers in estimating, charter development, scope adherence, schedule and budget
• Cultivate relationships with business owners and stakeholders to meet program objectives
• Provide PMO reporting and maintain project controls for internal and external audiences
• Lead and coach project teams and units; supervise direct reports and onboarding processes
• Possibly work a 24/7 operation and may require varied shifts including weekends or eves
• Brooklyn, NY location; open to qualified persons with disability under 55-a program
