Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in public administration or a related field.
• Applicants must pass CJIS fingerprint-based background check and CJIS eligibility must be maintained; certain felonies or violent offenses disqualify.
• Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs, trains, and supervises staff assigned to a division or operation within the Police Department.
• Ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures.
• Conducts on-the-job training, performance appraisals, and approves leave and overtime requests.
