LEO A DALY in Los Angeles seeks a Market Sector Leader to cultivate opportunities, manage client relations, and drive business development across defined markets. Lead and align with stakeholders to secure new work and deepen partnerships while managing budgets and strategy.

The role requires a strong background in architecture/interior design leadership, business development, and pursuit of strategic opportunities to position the firm as a premier provider in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture and/or Interior Design is required.
• 10+ years’ experience in design and management of projects, including 3-5 years in leadership and/or business development.
• Master’s degree in architecture and/or Interior Design preferred.
• Professional Registration – PE, Architect, NCIDQ is a plus.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with ability to grow the market sector and firm.
• Experience in client management, negotiations, and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Contract new work to meet market sector goals by securing new clients and expanding existing relationships.
• Develop and implement a market sector business plan with stakeholders and manage the budget.
• Monitor market trends and collaborate with marketing to strengthen the firm’s market presence.
• Develop contacts with decision makers and expand networks within the market.
• Build networks with design professionals to identify opportunities and solicit support for BD.
• Maintain a pipeline of advanced-state opportunities and meet KPIs.
• Provide business development intelligence to marketing and proposals teams for projects.
