Job summary

Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) is seeking a Systems Support Technician to provide advanced IT support to users at DVS Exam and Service sites in the Northwest Region. The role involves onsite and remote work, addressing laptops, desktops, kiosks, peripherals, and IP-based devices.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in IT support, strong Windows/Office/peripheral skills, network troubleshooting, and experience with enterprise ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of IT-related IT technical support experience.
• Advanced support with Windows operating systems, Office, and end-user peripherals.
• Troubleshooting networked technologies including LAN, Wi‑Fi, printers and IP devices.
• Experience using enterprise ticketing tools to track requests.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in an operations environment.
• Clear communication with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to users onsite and remotely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving laptops, desktops, kiosks, and peripherals.
• Assist with incidents and service requests for MNIT, DVS, and vendor solutions.
• Utilize enterprise ticketing tools to document and track work.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
