Job summary

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is seeking a Manager, Service and Installation in Columbus, OH to lead installation and maintenance of computer and network systems for 9-1-1 and Emergency Communications.

The role requires supervising technicians, coordinating with clients, and ensuring project milestones are met across PSAPs and data centers in Ohio. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of related experience, including supervisory duties, and familiarity with 911 systems and field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related business or technical discipline.
• 8+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
• Experience with technical field network or telephony deployments desirable.
• Experience with 911 Solutions and 911 call handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor installation and maintenance technicians at PSAPs and data centers around the State of Ohio.
• Frequently review deliverables, scheduling and mitigate issues impacting internal teams or the client.
• Provide on-site mentoring during significant milestones including testing or quality checks.
• Report functionally to the PM and serve as the primary contact for installation and maintenance.
• Communicate with the client, cross-functional teams, and external providers to maintain responsiveness.
• Coordinate and host program meetings with clients and internal SMEs.
• Deliver timely meeting agendas, notes, and action items.
• Build rapport with local PSAP management, supervisors and staff through calls and on-site visits.
• Work with internal and partner teams to develop scope, resources, budget, timing, and prioritization.
• Advocate for client resolutions and escalate as needed to address impairments within contractual time frames.
• Monitor Service Level Performance and drive improvement and reporting.
