Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent education and work experience will be considered.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in public-records investigations, investigative due diligence, business intelligence, legal research, conflicts, or related risk-management research.
• Experience in Am Law 100/200 law firms or large professional services is preferred.
• Experience supporting lateral-hire due diligence, new-business intake, conflicts, or international/cross-border research preferred.
• Advanced degree such as a J.D. or M.L.S. preferred.
• Experience using AI-assisted research tools or analytics platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct public-records research on individuals, companies, and related entities using multiple databases.
• Verify subject identities and corroborate findings across sources, identifying the basis for each finding.
• Identify patterns, gaps, and leads; escalate unresolved issues to the Risk Mitigation Research Manager.
• Research corporate family trees for conflicts-of-interest review.
• Retrieve court documents and related filings to support ongoing investigations.
• Support due diligence and conflicts teams in evaluating risks for prospective matters.
