Job summary

Starbucks Corp. seeks a manager of public policy to support policy and advocacy work affecting partners, operations, and communities.

You will monitor developments, coordinate research, prepare updates for internal teams, and work with government affairs partners to ensure Starbucks speaks with a trusted, constructive voice. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in government affairs or public policy, strong writing skills, and experience managing cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in government affairs or public policy.
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Working knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes.
• Self-starter with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and prepare summaries and updates.
• Conduct policy research and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with trade associations and external partners.
• Draft and support advocacy materials and briefing documents.
• Partner with business teams to align on policy positions and messaging.
• Support lobbying compliance requirements.
