Job summary

LEMOINE is seeking an experienced Municipal Superintendent to lead field execution on municipal and public works projects across Louisiana. The role oversees underground utilities, drainage, roadway construction, and site development, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, review civil drawings, and lead daily safety meetings while maintaining project documentation and relationships with municipalities, engineers, and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in municipal or heavy civil construction with field leadership.
• Experience with wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read civil drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors and equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and deliveries.
• Review drawings, specs, and documents for compliance.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water utilities, concrete structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings, enforce OSHA standards.
• Monitor schedules and quality, maintain reports.
• Coordinate inspections and project activities with stakeholders.
• Ensure work meets specs, environmental regulations, and client expectations.
• Build relationships with project teams, municipal reps, and clients.
