Job summary

LEMOINE is seeking an experienced Municipal Superintendent to lead field execution on public infrastructure and civil sitework projects in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.

The role focuses on overseeing daily field operations for wastewater treatment, sewer systems, drainage improvements, and utilities, while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence. Travel to regional project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent municipal construction experience considered.
• 5+ years of municipal or heavy civil construction experience leading field operations.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, drainage, and utilities.
• Able to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors and equipment on municipal projects.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on municipal infrastructure projects including wastewater treatment plants and sewer systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain productivity, safety, and schedule.
• Review civil drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work is completed according to plans and standards.
• Supervise installations of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water utilities, force mains, and concrete structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA requirements and site-specific safety procedures.
• Monitor project schedules and address field challenges to maintain timelines and quality.
• Maintain accurate daily reports including manpower, equipment usage, and site progress documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and project activities with municipalities, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, environmental regulations, and client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams, trade partners, and municipal representatives.
