Job summary

The LEMOINE Company, LLC seeks a Municipal Superintendent to lead field execution on public infrastructure and civil sitework projects in Louisiana. You will oversee daily field operations, supervise crews, review plans, and ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of municipal construction, utilities, drainage, and site development, ready to collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in municipal or heavy civil construction with field leadership.
• Experience reading civil drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects including wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, drainage improvements, lift stations, and underground utilities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain productivity, safety, and schedule.
• Review civil drawings, specs, and project documents to ensure work meets plans and municipal standards.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water utilities, force mains, concrete structures, and related civil infra infrastructure.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily reports including manpower, equipment usage, production tracking, inspections, and site progress.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and project activities with municipalities, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work meets project specs and environmental regulations.
