Job summary

The Lemoine Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Municipal Superintendent to lead field execution on public infrastructure and civil sitework projects in Louisiana. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate crews and utilities, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality are maintained.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure, and the ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and field documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred; equivalent municipal construction experience considered.
• 5+ years of municipal or heavy civil construction with field operations leadership.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, drainage infrastructure, and underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors, equipment, and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveries.
• Review civil drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water utilities, and concrete structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations.
• Monitor project schedules and address field challenges.
• Maintain accurate daily reports on manpower, equipment usage, and site progress.
• Coordinate inspections, utility tie-ins, testing, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure work meets specifications, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, municipal representatives, and clients.
