Job summary

The Lemoine Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Municipal Superintendent to lead field execution on public infrastructure and civil sitework projects in Louisiana. You will oversee underground utilities, drainage, roads, concrete structures, and site development while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of municipal or heavy civil construction leadership, strong drawing interpretation skills, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent municipal construction experience preferred.
• 5+ years in municipal or heavy civil construction with field leadership.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, drainage, underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors, equipment, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and construction management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to regional sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and deliveries.
• Review drawings, specs, and documents to ensure plan compliance.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer, drainage, water utilities, and concrete structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings; enforce OSHA regulations and site safety.
• Monitor schedules and address field challenges to protect timelines.
• Maintain accurate daily reports on manpower, usage, inspections, progress.
• Coordinate inspections and utility tie-ins with municipalities and engineers.
• Ensure work meets specs, quality standards, environmental rules, client expectations.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, trade partners, and clients.
