Job summary

LEMOINE is seeking a Municipal Superintendent to lead daily field operations on municipal and public works construction projects across Louisiana. You will oversee underground utilities, drainage improvements, roadway construction, and site development while ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent municipal construction experience considered.
• 5+ years municipal or heavy civil construction experience; leads field operations.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, drainage infrastructure, and underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, utility plans, and construction schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors, equipment, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to regional project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects, including wastewater plants, sewer systems, drainage, lift stations, and underground utilities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain productivity, safety, and schedule.
• Review civil drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work meets plans and standards.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water utilities, and concrete structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures.
• Monitor project schedules and address field challenges to maintain timelines and quality.
