St. Louis Housing Authority is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations of public housing developments. Position involves on-site oversight, leasing, resident certification, and coordination of maintenance and repairs.

The role requires prioritizing work, representing SLHA to tenants, and providing leadership to on-site staff while ensuring compliance with federal housing laws and SLHA policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required with 3 years' progressive property management experience.
• Public Housing Manager or Managing Maintenance Certificate or the ability to obtain within one year is required.
• Equivalent certificate may be substituted.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations and management of federally subsidized housing developments, including leasing and rent collection.
• Ensure compliance with HUD rules and agency policies and procedures.
• Represent the agency to outside organizations and community partners to support program goals.
• Pre-qualify applicants for LIHTC, Public Housing and similar affordable housing programs.
• Inspect staff and contracts to ensure standards are met and quality work is performed.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager to implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
