Job summary

The Arizona Department of Health Services (DEPT OF HEALTH SERVICES) is seeking a Workforce Program Manager to support workforce initiatives for the Arizona Primary Care Office. The role involves data collection, contract oversight, and marketing to recruit and retain health care professionals across the state.

Responsibilities include managing contracts, developing program materials, and coordinating statewide data evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business or related field; 3 years’ experience in program planning and administration; Master’s degree substitutes for 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of community-based health services, access to care issues, health disparities, recruitment and retention strategies.
• Experience with contract management and data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Manages Workforce Programs including overseeing contracts and monitoring compliance.
• Provides technical assistance and training to providers and the public about Workforce Programs; markets the program and maintains marketing materials.
• Serves as the liaison for workforce programs; collaborates with internal and community partners on recruitment and retention activities.
• Maintains/updates the Workforce Programs database and tracking logs; develops standard work and manuals.
• Prepares reports, including annual Maternal and Children's Health report; coordinates sliding fee schedule updates and publications.
• Supports data evaluation and collection for Arizona Health Care workforce; plans stakeholder and advisory committees.
