Job summary

The Arizona Department of Health Services seeks a Maternal and Fetal Health Program Manager to lead statewide strategies under the Rural Health Transformation Program. You will implement evidence-based interventions, expand workforce capacity, and improve access to quality maternal care.

Collaborate with hospitals, Tribal health entities, and public partners; drive CQI, data-informed decisions, and program evaluation; represent ADHS in state and national discussions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of rural maternal health challenges and best practices
• Strong communication and grant-writing abilities
• Experience with program planning and budget management

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Strategy Implementation - lead statewide maternal and fetal health strategies aligned with the Rural Health Transformation Program and ADHS priorities.
• Technical Assistance & Capacity Building - provide technical assistance to healthcare systems, tribal partners, and public health entities to support implementation of evidence-based maternal and fetal health practices.
• Community Partnership Development - build and maintain partnerships with hospitals, Tribal health entities, county health departments, and community organizations.
• Data-Informed Program Improvement - drive data-informed program improvement and CQI efforts, align with program metrics.
• Subject Matter Expertise & Representation - serve as a SME for maternal and fetal health and represent ADHS in state and national discussions.
• Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
