DC Health seeks a Quality Improvement & Performance Management Specialist to lead agency-wide continuous quality improvement, Lean initiatives, and performance measurement. The role develops KPIs, data dashboards, and strategic measures to strengthen public health service delivery across the Department of Health.

You will guide Lean A3 and PDCA processes, map workflows, and drive efficiency while coordinating with bureaus. This is a career civil service position in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-13) level, in the occupied position.

• Oversee agency-wide continuous quality improvement and performance evaluation initiatives.
• Lead Lean management methods (A3 problem-solving, PDCA) and map business processes to streamline workflows.
