New Mexico Department of Health is seeking an Associate Purchasing Coordinator to manage procurement of products and services, monitor inventory, and maintain strong vendor relationships across the Northeast Region. The role supports public health offices by ensuring timely supply delivery and cost-effective purchasing practices.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalency and experience in accounting, finance, purchasing, procurement, or warehouse clerking.

• High School diploma or equivalency required; one year of related experience preferred.
• Experience in accounting, finance, purchasing, procurement, or warehousing is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written, oral, and visual formats; strong customer service skills.

• Monitor inventory levels and manage distribution of supplies to seven public health offices in the region.
• Assist with accounts payable, purchase orders, quotes, and vehicle liaison duties as needed.
