Qualifications

• Must possess a current NM Registered Nurse license or be eligible for licensure under the Nursing Practice Act.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as it pertains to the duties of the classification.
• Experience delivering specialized public health services in New Mexico.
• Ability to interview clients in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and clerks by creating daily work schedules and evaluating performance.
• Manage float resource services and coverage across Public Health Offices in the region.
• Ensure lab tests are conducted following quality controls and SLD procedures.
• Establish pharmacy drug room procedures and ensure compliance with NM Pharmacy QC Standards.
• Enforce and document family planning, STD, TB, cancer screening, and harm reduction services according to protocols.
