Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services seeks a Program Manager to work with the CDC in Atlanta, GA. The PM will manage day-to-day client deliverables and report to GPS senior leadership. This hybrid role requires occasional on-site work at the Atlanta CDC office, with candidates residing within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory or management experience, including employee performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and personnel decisions.
• Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary CDC interface and maintain relationships with client representatives and stakeholders.
• Lead program planning, budgeting, performance monitoring, reporting, and evaluation activities.
• Provide guidance to clients on program requirements and project execution.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting schedules, deliverables, resources, and performance.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Oversee staff performance and personnel actions in coordination with HR.
• Support resource mobilization, contracts, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepare programmatic, narrative, and financial reports and updates.
• Support public health initiatives through stakeholder engagement and data dissemination.
• Act as program point of contact and provide coverage as needed.
